Bon Accord Sorcerers

Bon Accord Sorcerers

The Bon Accord Sorcerers was formed in 1973. The meetings were held in the homes of Jim Sommerfield, Ron Gordon, Bill Seagraves and Peter Laing in Aberdeen. The Sorcerers was a club for young people. It was expected that the members would graduate into the Aberdeen Magical Society. In the Club constitution it was stated that there should be no conflict of interests between the two clubs.

It has been suggested that when Gordon Thom, of the Aberdeen Magic Factory, died the flow of young people to the Sorcerers ended. The club eventually closed in 1989.
